Dr Neo Mei Lin’s big dream is to build up marine conservation awareness in Singapore and elsewhere through science communication – and is now an avid champion for marine conservation, education & outreach, especially for young people.
She is a Bold + Brilliant young woman scientist 👩🏻🔬 and has accolades to prove it, including:
– World Future Foundation PhD Prize, 2014
– L’Oréal For Women in Science National Fellowship, 2015
– NUS Outstanding Young Alumni Award, 2017
– Singapore Youth Awards (SYA) winner, 2019.
Not only that, but Mei Lin was selected as the only Singaporean TED Fellow for the Class of 2017, and gave her TED talk in Vancouver, Canada in April of 2017!
