A successful event involves multiple teams working together to fulfil a common purpose, and our TEDxSingapore co-curators are currently busting their chops to make sure we put together an event we will remember for years to come.
Our production team consists of four co-curators, one of whom is Hsien Yong, a lecturer at the School of Film & Media Studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He may be new to TEDxSingapore, but he sure has the right experience to oversee production care – which involves everything behind the scenes on the event day and all technical preparations prior.
Hsien Yong is currently working with multiple managers from Nanyang Technological University (our event venue!) to facilitate lighting, audio, projection and Internet connectivity for live-streaming on the event days.
Aside from working with our main AV provider, Dorier AV, for all equipment matters, Hsien Yong is also the main contact for all technical requirements from the speakers and from the internal team.

When he isn’t checking all boxes for our production preparations, this talented co-curator is also a keen first aid medical enthusiast.
