“If you want to run fast, go alone; if you want to run far, go together.”
Incredible initiative by Relay Majulah this month! They have a big audacious goal of running a relay with 200 runners with different abilities over the span of 2000km within 200 hours, in support of 67 charities as part of President’s Challenge.
We spotted our recent TEDxYouth@Singapore Speaker Aleksandar Duric in the runner’s list too!
Support them and follow the last leg of their journey on FB! https://www.giving.sg/president-s-challenge/relaymajulah
NVPC – Towards a City of Good ❤️
Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative where 200 runners – people from all walks of life and abilities – come together to conquer 2000km over 200 hours, to raise funds for President’s Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and in commemoration of our SG Bicentennial.
Sharing a 5-part series of what Relay Majulah stands for. After 9 months in the making, Relay Majulah will not only make history in Singapore as the longest and largest relay ever, Relay Majulah is most importantly – going to change the world for our people.
What We Stand For (Part 5 of 5)
Relay Majulah is about us lifting one another up, so we rise together as a nation. Some runners run faster and will help to cover for those who may not run as a fast – so we can conquer 2000km over 200 hours together. Some will fundraise more to cover those who are trying their best but may not fundraise as much – so we can collectively reach our goal of $1million.
What matters above it all, is that we all try our best and uplift each other’s efforts and with this, we know wherever life lands, it will be good.
We are a team and we are #InThisTogether. Together, We are Relay Majulah.
